The role of the first draft is to exist. What started as a blank canvas came to life yesterday in the form of exciting talks and sessions organised by students for the student community. We are greatly indebted to everyone who made this possible. To all the people who came from different parts of the country to organise, attend and speak we truly appreciate the efforts and sacrifices. We also would like to thank the AMLD Africa team for the licence to host our own curated satellite program. Special thanks goes to our sponsors Young AI Leaders Community | Gweru Hub and Evolve Africa ICT Summit for their contributions towards event space, snacks and gifts for keynote speakers. We also appreciate the different communities that came in full force to support us with special mentions to the CUT Data Science Club, Data Science Zimbabwe Midlands State University Chapter, Girls In Tech Zimbabwe Internet Society - Zimbabwe Chapter, AWS Cloud Clubs University of Zimbabwe, Google Developer Groups on Campus Africa University and Uncommon.org. Cheers to more community events in the Data Science, AI and Machine Learning spheres.
